PH 8.4 (held steady on that since inception)
Nitrite 0.007
Nitrate 6.90
SG 1.026 (will be reducing to 1.024 over the next week)
Age 5 weeks (cycled with ATM colony)
DP 350lts / Sump 75lts
Inhabitants Dogface Puffer & Yellow Tang (trading him due to bad advice)

The DFP developed a white thin line which started a few days ago around his gill - no other white spots that i can see and nothing on the Tang. Last night added 15ltrs of 1.024 mixed from RO water and, placed a few feeder shrimp - he ate quite a few and is looking a little fat this morning... However, that white line is now huge and weirdly flaps with the flow. I am fairly new marine and new to puffer therefore a little unsure after lots of internet searching - I'm hoping its just fat flap and nothing more?

Any questions let me know, all help is appreciated.

You could try Pimafix, which won't hurt your biological filtration but I'm not sure if it foams in SW.
