anyone have any experience with a single pleco is an amazon puffer tank?

Yes, the plecos got chewed up.

It worked for me, I had a 40 gallon with two SAPs and an L82 Pleco. I imagine that it depends heavily on the species of Pleco, personality of the puffers, and setup of the tank.
