Just wondering what your puffers favorite thing is? My son dropped a salmon egg in the tank and HOLY COW! I think I found his chocolate!

MIne likes cheese. I was cleaning my tank and took a break to eat some lunch. while standing over my tank, I accidently droped a peice of sharp chedder cheese in the tank. He loves it. I'm not quite sure if the cheese will hurt him, so i wont give him any more until I find out.

My fahaka loves earthworms. I wouldn't feed them cheese.

I dont, just the once

I know I'm expected to write about a 'special' food type but... ALL of my fish (cept plecos of course) are crazy for bloodworms.

But please, people with more experience, talk about cool other foods (like salmon eggs) that puffers love =)

Speaking of cheese, or semi-cheese I never feed it to my fish, my I use to use Velveeta as bait when I was a little kid, I have caught many sunfish and some nice catfish with it, I even once caught a turtle with Velveeta.

My fahaka likes lizards, frogs and earthworms.

Crayfish or fiddlers - I prefer feeding the crays because they have alot more meat to them.

and Ghost shrimp... although Cockles cooked in garlic oil and herbs went down well the Mickey (didn't realise had the wrong pack!)

My GSPs love crays aswell as the occasional small slices of raw ahi tuna.

I got a Soft shelled blue crab from the bait store and dropped it some for my Boxfish and she went nuts over it.

She hates squid. I got some frozen squid from the LPS and she won't touch it.

My foot long, Golden Puffer will not eat anything except HBH supersoft pellets! Ive tried all kinds of things. I feed my fish a wide variety of foods but it doesnt matter, he just wants pellets!

Well, I guess if he grew to a foot on just pellets, there must be some good stuff in there. Did you tell him, he wouldn't be finding pellets in the ocean?
