Ok, so I was at the pet shop looking in the fish section, and I saw the most adorable, cute tiny fish ever!
I read the label on the tank and it said they were called Leopard or Spotted Puffer.
There were about 6 or 7 in the tank, but 2 of them were a very dark goldish color, the others were all much lighter, but any way, these 2 looked the same except for the fact they had large crooked dents in their lower area by their tail fin.
I was wanting some, but I want to get like, a boy and girl to breed...but they all look the same!!! How do you tell the gender of your puffer?
I also read that they eat live foods. Could some one give me a list?
And, i read on a website, they need lots of decor in their tank, is this true?

You can't get these puffers to breed in tanks. DP's would breed. The spotted puffers would need 30 gallons each. You cannot tell the gender of Green Spotted Puffers. As adults they require full marine salt. They start off as brackish.

there is an excelent article in the library on GSPs, please read that, it well tell you almost everything you want to know.

have you kept fish before? puffers are generally more difficult to keep, and not good beginner fish. ideally suited to the intermediate/advanced aquarist.

OMG, please don't write in small pink letters! I'd love to help but it hurts my eyes!
