Hello, I have been reading frequently on this forum to try to ask about my green spotted puffers. Recently one passed away due to unknown causes, and another one of them is starting to act the same way! He refuses to eat, bobs around the tank because he’s too weak to fight the bubbler! He gets knocked around by my other GSP’s, and I don’t want him to get the other’s sick. The weirdest thing he does is almost like he’s gulping or breathing extremely heavy rather frequently. Please help before it’s too late! His nitrites are between 80-160 by the way.

You mean nitrate? You need to answer ALL the Qs above in red, so we can help.

No its the nitrites, i tested today.

You MUST be mistaken. A nitrite of 1 is toxic. I know of no nitrite tests that go this high.
