Hey guys, I have a 40g breeder available and want to get Amazon puffers. I live in peru so they are easy to come by.
I know they are recommended to keep about 5 or more. But a 40 breeder isn't big enough. Could I keep less than 5 and still have them be comfortable?

I am farely new to pufferfish so don't be to mean pls.
PD: I have done my research and know almost everything about their care.

You could get 3-4, they will be OK.

Oh thanks! Do you think I could add some kuhli loaches as bottom dwellers or is the tank overstocked?
If I had a 55 could I add other fish?

55g would be PERFECT for 5 SAPs.
