Help me! Random White Spots on Dwarf Puffers!??

White Spots On Dwarf Puffers!??
Had my DPs for a few months now, all seemed fine...
The white mucus/algae on the log grows slower but is still apparent - even with a most certainly cycled tank.
Been running for ages with:
Ammonia <0.25
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5 - 10 (always been low)
I added two Ruby Nerite snails to my tank last week to clean the green algae from some areas of the glass.
I just noticed a white spot or two on 4 of 5 DPs. It wasn’t there a few days ago, could it be transferred from the snails or something?
What should I do??
I know that DPs are very sensitive to chemicals in the water but I already do 3 >25% water changes per week...
The pictures won’t load but the spots are small, round, slightly translucent in the middle and relatively flat.
More have appeared on their faces and above their eyes since yesterday O.o
