Pea puffer lump

I can't seam to upload a photo here. One of my pea puffers has what looks like a little snail stuck in her throat. It's been like this over a week. I don't know how to treat or if it's a snail or a tumor.

I kinda think it wouldn't be a snail. It would have to be a teeny-tiny one! Possibly tumor. You have to download the pic to Image shack & then link it here.

Thanks for the pics! Is he eating/swimming normally? It looks to be a cyst of some kind. It may just resolve itself. If it does pop, I'd add Melafix to aid in healing & prevent infection.

The camera wasn't able to capture but in the bump is a perfect circle of a reddish solid object.

Did you ever resolve this issue? My puffer started out looking like that too but now the lump is so much larger that it scares me.

Having the same issue with one of my peas. Anything ever happen?

Not looking good; he is not eating and is acting different than normal. He is normally the aggressive alpha but now the female is bullying him.
