Hello Everyone,
Im New here, and new to Puffers. I recently purchased 2 South American Puffers. I currently have them in my 30 gallon quarantine they have a great appetite and seem healthy and happy. I can keep them there forever. I only have 2 tanks I could add them to, and wanted suggestions on which tank would be better for them, and the other fish.
1st option- 100 gallon
heavily planted
real driftwood
small Cichlid style gravel
1-med pleco
1- small Raphael Cat
2 - Blue Acaras large
1- female Convict med
1- Chocolate Cichlid med
1- YoYo Loach med
2- kuhli loach small
2- Rainbow cichlids small
2nd option - 90 gallon
heavily planted
real driftwood
small cichlid style gravel
1- Gold Severum
1- Orange Shoulder Severum
4- Kribensis
1- rubber lip pleco, small
1- Whiptail cat, small
1- Sunshine cat, med
all of my tanks are overfiltered and well maintained. I love these little puffers and want them to have a good healthy home.
any advice would be a great help, I have done my research and there is just too many conflicting opinions on SAP's
