Best advice money can't buy

I am absolutely smitten with my GSP and have been fortunate enough to afford a top rate aquatic vet and get special treatment from a highly regarded marine biologist... but the most effective advice/education/guidance for my little guy has come from this forum... for free.
IMHO, there is little financial motivation to specialize in puffer care and, as such, it seems to me that the anecdotal content on this forum is worth more than any generalized professional. In my personal experience, PP suggested a general best practice (remove all carbon, diet variation and increased live rock) appears to have indirectly cured my GSP's skin deterioration.
To that end, I'd like to ask PP and the moderators to list the most frequent advice that they patiently reiterate and which we fail to heed / choose to ignore.
Thanks!
