I just transferred my puffer who is usually playful and happy. His new tank as I learned today is reflecting glass all around. So he is not responding to me, he’s turned black and can’t see me but when the lights are off he sees my shadow and gets excited. I’m worried I should get a different clear tank so he isn’t sad. Has anyone experienced this? Any thoughts?

Are there mirrors on the glass?

Yes if I look from the inside it’s all mirrors I could not tell when I bought it because it was empty.

Are you absolutely sure? Put your hand against the inside glass on all sides & see if you can see it from the outside on all 4 sides.
