I am thinking about getting a Congo Puffer its only an inch, I have went through 2 of these puffer's before, but they have both died on me, are they really aggressive at inch?

why do you ask?
are you thinking about tankmates for it?

I know tank mates for it, because with the 2 I had before, the tank mates were a Discus, fire eel, dragon puffer, leaf fish, datnoid, common pleco, albino bichir, archer fish, and an silver arrowana. I just don't know why the previous have died, nothing was wrong with the parameters in my tank, but I would like to buy another one that is under an inch, the question I have is that are they aggressive at that size?

It wouldn't matter.

It was a 45 gallon long, both of the last one I had were only aggressive to the fish that were less than their size, but some how died unfortunately, but I do have an opportunity to get one that is only an inch.

You had all of your above listed fish in a 45 gallon long? Or you are considering a 45 long for the Congo Puffer?

Did you do any regular testing, and what were the water parameters (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates).

The only fish in your above list that is OK for a 45 long is the albino senegal.

If you want to keep any of the above listed fish (outside of the puffers) I recommend you head over to monsterfishkeepers.com and do a lot of reading about the care and long-term needs of the species you want to keep or are keeping.

Do you still have all of those fish listed above currently?

Yeah I still have these fishes execept the archer fish and the dragon Puffer, I am still wondering if a Miurus Puffer is aggressive at only an inch?

The answer is YES. It's not the aggressiveness that you need to worry about, it is it's predatory behavior of biting chunks of flesh out of any sized fish it lives with.

The kindest thing you will ever do for a puffer, and the rest of your livestock, is to home your puff alone. Also, lets not forget this genus' often piscavorous habits... so (YOUR) other fish are definitely on the menu.
