New here, but not to having dwarf puffers

New to this forum, but not new to having dwarf puffers. I live in North Carolina (USA). I've had a few year's break from having fish, but I'm ready to get back into it! My favorite fish ever were the dwarf puffers, so that is what I'm aiming for after I've cycled my tank and added fresh live plants. I have a 28 gallon Euro Marineland bowfront tank. I would like to have one male and two females if this tank would be big enough for that. If not, I'm happy with just one or maybe two females. My lfs can order the fish for me, but can they order male and females separately so I know I'm getting the two different sexes? I'm just not sure how that is done.

Looking forward to getting my tank up and running and getting some puffers! :D

You could do at least 10 in there IF it's heavily planted! Maybe 5 or 6 if not

If I had more than three (one male and two females) would it have to be one male and more females? I've read not to have more than one male in a tank at a time....

The ratio should be 1 male - 3 females.
