DP junk food?

Hello all, I have a slight variation of a frequently asked question on the forum (I have already read the Puffer pedia articles and such) about DP's.

I recently adopted two female c. travancoricus that are rather thin. The younger of the two has a red chin from being so skinny- they are definitely saveable and are now taking most of the usual fare: blood worms, thawed frozen spirulina brine shrimp, and thawed frozen daphnea. They won't touch live food- no small ramshorn snails or live Amano shrimp (they seem to think they're tank mates not food...).

My question is this: what is the fattiest food I can feed these girls to plumpen them up, junk food if you will, to try and put some weight on these 2 asap? I'm familiar with what they ^usually^ eat but I'm looking for the meatiest and heaviest offering I can give. I'm so desperate to get these super lovey girls the healthiest I can, any advice is welcome!

Live blackworms. I gut-load them with crushed flakes/plankton.

I have searched the forum, and still don't quite understand gut loading. So i need to keep them in large portions and feed them the flakes before feeding the worms to the puffs? I have 2 toddlers and fight like sin to keep them from my water change buckets, how do i hide/store the worms? Can they live in my fridge?

Gut loading just means that you feed your live food with good nutritious, and vitamin rich stuff like spirulina based foods.
