Hello
I'm wondering how old would you estimate a .5" Fahaka is?

Depends on how it was fed. Mine was at an aquarium store with horrible IPs for over 6 months & was barely 1". I have cichlid fry from parents who grow to 3", that are finally 1/2" after 3 months.

If this helps a bit I know they recently came in about a week and a half ago I've had mine for about 4 days
