Should I Quarantine My Tank?

Hi there i purchased my first 3 dwarf puffers! They are amazing! Sadly, today Newt (my puffer) died. 
He was the smallest one, frail looking and always hid. He never hunted the trumpet snails either! Was this a case of infection that could get my other fish?!
Please help!
