Has anyone had any success keeping their Abei puffer with any other living thing? Years ago I had an Abei, and I put a Bristlenose plec in with him to keep the tank clean and the puffer killed the plec (didn't eat it, just killed it).
I have another Abei, and had him for many years and though he seems very laid back I've never tried putting anything other than cherry shrimp in with him.
However, I've just bought a small baby Abei and was curious about putting other fish in with him and wondered if anyone's had any success doing so?

Yeah, I think you're right. I was only curious if anyone had actually been successful. He was keen after the shrimp I put in and was really looking high and low for anything that moved. He's awfully cute though. It's weird my older Abei is so big and this new one is so small, you almost forget that's how they start out.

My abei is called Pogo, after John Wayne Gacy's clown name. It's because he looks like a clown and kills everything he sees... For what it's worth.

I read somewhere on here that someone has a Raphael catfish and a clown pleco with their Abei, haven't personally tried anything with mine yet as have only just got her
