I need some help removing some green algae from my F8's Aquarium. There is some on the glass and strands hanging all over my plants. I purchased some nerite snails (those won't last long ). They cleaned up the front, but I need something to remove from the plants and substrate.

A clean-up crew as you are aware will not last in most puffer tanks. You really just need to do frequent manual clean-ups/algae removal to keep on top of it. You could also try feed less and/or phosphate removers in your filter (e.g. phosguard or something like that). Also, how long do you leave your lights on?

I'm with Blinkey on this one.
Most times the problem in an aquarium is best dealt with on the cause of the issue, rather than the result.
You should begin with the water chemistry.
High phosphates and other chemistry friendly to algae should be carefully monitored.
Algae will thrive on high phosphate & nitrate levels.
Do you have liquid test kits, including phosphate and hardness kits?
What are those levels?
Do you overfeed?
Do you clean up uneaten food?
What is your water change schedule?
What kind of plants do you have?
Do you feed the plants?
How much light, and what kind of lighting do you have?
Is the tank exposed to sunlight in addition to artificial lighting?
