Possible Ich on Figure 8

My figure 8 puffer, Nibbles, has developed some strange white spots on him in the past 24 hours. They look a bit like ich. He also has this weird pimple-like bump on his side (which I hope is not a nematode). These only appeared last night, and my dad and I checked the water today. Ammonia - 0, Nitrite - 0, Nitrate - >5. He is acting perfectly normal, but he just has those weird little spots. If this is ich, what are some good medicines to cure it. Also, does anyone have any idea what that bump is? I am sorry that there are no picture, as I don't know how to upload to this site. Also, Nibbles won't stay still long enough to get a clear picture. Thanks, everybody!

Oh, also, I started feeding him some shrimp from the grocery store on Friday evening. This is the only change that has taken place in a while. Also, salinity was at 1.005 when last checked.

Pics would definitely help! Are the white spots on his fins? If not, then maybe you're just seeing his spines. Maybe the bump is food?

There are some spots on his fins, but they have been there since we got him a few months ago, I think. They also look a little bit different than the spots on his body. I don't think that the bump is food, it is almost up by his dorsal fin. I will see if I can get some pictures today.

Pics will really help us to identify the problem. Does sound like ich though.

Unfortunately, Nibbles will not hold still long enough for me to get a picture. I will try again today, though. So far, Nibbles is still acting normally, but he still has the spots and bump. There are a few spots on his back, and several on his tail. The spots do sound a lot like what I have heard ich described as. As for the bump, it just looks sort of like a pimple. A nematode wouldn't just suddenly present after several months, right? I know that it is hard to diagnose an illness without images of it, but should I medicate Nibbles anyway? Ich is curable, right? Also, I think that Nibbles might be eating the algae off of the fake plants in the tank. Is this normal?

What's the SG of Nibbles' tank?

Nematode under the skin usually looks like a raised bump with a indentation in the middle. Sometimes they move around.

Last that it was checked, roughly a week and a half ago, it was 1.005. I will check again today, when I get home. I can't really tell what exactly the bump looks like, the skin in that area is pretty dark. There is also another white spot on the bump.
