Hi,
When you feed earthworms ... do you buy them or dig them up in your yard? I do actually have lots in my yard and we don't use anything non-organic in our courtyard, so they are clean from that perspective.
Thanks!!!

I buy them, but as long as your yard is chemical free you can dig them up and it will be fine.

I do both. TONS of them after a good rain! Mostly, I buy them from Walmart though.

Earthworms are my humpback's favorite food. He will eat some bloodworms but isn't too interested in krill, etc. So, I am a little worried that he isn't getting a varied diet, eating just the worms. Is there something I can "gut-load" the earthworms with?

Galen1, I had the same issue with my miurus. It took a long time to get him onto other foods. You can add crushed krill, plankton, flakes to the earthworm's container for them to eat. I have gotten my puffer to eat many other foods since then though & I always soak his food in Vita-Chem.
