My figure 8 puffer seems to have gotten a piece of silk plant stuck to him. I think one of the fibers is caught in his beak/teeth. I don't know how he got the piece off of the plant. He seems fine, and does not appear interested in eating it. It even went inside his mouth at one point, but he spit it back out. Does anyone know how I can get it out?

Net him & keep him underwater. Grab him through the net & use tweezers to remove the object. Are his teeth overgrown?

Thanks PufferPunk. The piece of plant seems to have either fallen off or he swallowed it, although he didn't try to eat it earlier. There is a little bit still stuck in his beak, though. As for his teeth being overgrown, I'm not sure how to tell if they are or not. He doesn't seem to have any troubles eating, though.
