Hello, winter is coming soon and it's getting colder and colder.
I am planning to set up a heater for my fahaka tank, but I am unsure what temperature is the best for the fahaka while not costing too much money on electricity.
Please give me some suggestions, it will really help.

also here is a video of my fahaka

Is a using an exterior mounted PV solar panel an option for you ?

If it is, do an online search for 12v rubber heating pads.
Be advised, sustained heat requires a fair amount of wattage.

You'll need to work out a thermostat and required solar panel size
wattage for the amount of heat you'll need. Even as a supplement it
might help long term with your electrical bill.
