The Puffer Forum

Well, figured I'd make an *official* introduction thread.

I am the proud owner of two Green Spotted Puffers (Pod & Ditty), whom I've had for maybe a month+ now... Can't seem to remember when I got them... Purchased them at a local LFS, and they were in Freshwater parameters. I slowly have adapted them to low-end marine (1.020), and they are fairing well. They love to eat, although I do not overfeed. I was going to keep them at Brackish levels, but ended up using left over live sand I had laying around from past Marine/Reef setups. I have 5 aquariums in total, 4 Marine, 1 Freshwater, and absolutely adore the fish/reef hobby. Aside from that, I have two dogs (Golden Retriever & a Chihuahua), and I live in the Valley of the Sun (AKA Phoenix). Glad to be part of the forum. So much knowledge to learn, and I appreciate being part of the puffer squad.

My current fish (altogether) include:
*2 Green Spotted Puffers
*6 Clownfish (2 Maroon, 2 Ocellaris, 1 Mocha Snow, 1 Naked)
*1 Yellow Clown Goby
*1 Tiger Pistol Shrimp
*1 Red Scooter Dragonet
*1 Fairy Wrasse
*3 male Bettas
*5 Corydoras (1 Panda, 2 Julii, 1 Sterbai, 1 Spotted)

..........it's NOT EVEN NEARLY hot there yet
give it a month or three

Pufferpunk - I have family in Tucson. Originally from Pittsburgh. Do you ever get a chance to visit?

eieio - Trust me, it's hot here. My house AC went out two weeks ago and it is in the mid 90s in my house. Have to keep my tanks cool with frozen water bottles. lol... I'm literally melting lol.

TheStig - I'll trade you lol, and pics are soon to come... hopefully... lol

I visit every winter for a week.

Yes, I do. A 2013 sedan in World Rally Blue. I love my Subi. lol

I'm in the process of trying to get financing for a 2015 in midnight grey. I had a stupid grin on my face for an hour after the test drive. Amazing cars.

did you know that this time of year, your low daily temps are roughly equivalent to our daily high temps here in Prescott?

Yep, well aware. Thanks for rubbing that in lol... I have been to almost every car show Embry Riddle has put on, so I go out there yearly, if not more.
