Male or female?

How do you tell what sex your puffers are. Mine look identical. The only difference is one has markings that go down to his/her belly.

Thanks, it is great to have this site for all my dumb questions. But I want to provide the best habitat for my fish. Since coming to this site I find myself more educated on fish health. Today I was at Wal-mart and they had some F8s in with fresh water fish and they looked so pitiful. I found myself wanting to buy them just to give them to someone that I could tell how to keep them properly. Also, Rocker I saw your tank of the year and it is awesome. What kind of substrate do you use?

I used plain red aquarium sand.
