I have seen two white worm in my tank. Are these parasites or are they harmless. Is there a way I can get rid of them?

The worms are completely white and are less that an inch long. They swim around and latch on to my plants or disappear into the substrate. They are to small to photograph, but I'll try.

Yeah, more water changes and they will disappear. Overfeeding is the usual cause and poor water quality. I have overfed/waited too long between water changes in the past and got them. Nothing to worry about other than a sign to keep it clean, hehe.

OK, I'm interested. How do you get them? Do they hitchhike on food? Plants?

Sometimes they can hitch a ride on plants but usually only as eggs. When people over feed or feed raw foods these little guys are always bound to pop up.
