Clean up/cleaning tank mate

I know tank real estate is slim but is there anything at all that can go in a 64litre tank with a figure eight to combat algae or to clean up after said puffer?
Edit: I'm guessing not but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask

What can be done about the algae?
Dealing with the same problem for two baby GSPs.

If your puffers don't eat other fish, you could try black mollies.

Mollies are really efficient with algae surprisingly. They will even eat hair algae granted not as much as SAEs. If want to rid yourself of algae without fish help, you could try to increase the plant load. Although brackish plants are limited. Plants if provided the correct conditions will out compete algae for nutrients. And you could pick up a phosphate test kit and test your tap water. If your tap water has phosphates you can switch to Rodi water reconstituted with trace elements. Algea feeds off of phosphates.
