I can't find prazipro at my local petstore (I only have petco near me).
Is there a medication with the same ingredients that is more common?
it seems prazipro is a bit hard to find?
thanks!

Thanks I saw that but I can't find those medications near me :(

Metronidazole and Levamisole Hydrochloride - these two need to be used together?
I can't find petsmart or petco carrying Metronidazole
and the other one is harder to find

Praziquantel - I can't find Prazipro, Droncit, etc.

Is there a common medication that is carried by Petco or Petsmart I can pick up from in store?
Or are these things that need to be ordered online?
Thanks!

The closest thing I found containing Praziquantel from petsmart/petco was one for dogs/cats

D-Worm Combo Broad Spectrum Dog De-Wormer
for $30

SENTRY® WORM X PLUS® Broad Spectrum Dog Dewormer

ProLabs Tape Worm Cat Tabs
$25

can these be used at all?

Have you done an online search? I pretty much buy everything either from Ebay or Amazon nowadays.

Yep I saw it on amazon as well as other online vendors but I was trying to get one locally so I could use it right away (if I ordered on amazon, I would have to expedite the shipping and it comes out to $25). I am trying some local aquatic stores if I can't find one I guess I'll order it on amazon and get it Monday. One store knew what it was but didn't have it.
Thanks!

I managed to find a prazipro locally for $16 for the 4oz solution (with tax it came out to over $18), it was at a reefs store. Although the associate that helped me didn't seem to know too much about green spotted puffers. He told me to put it in freshwater, and a 10g tank, when I mentioned I had 4 he said a 20 gallon tank. And he pointed to aquarium salt, I asked if it should be that one or Instant Ocean.

I'm going to soak bloodworms in it but what concentrate am I supposed to use for the soak solution? It says for a bath to use 1 tsp per 20 gallons - is that the concentration to aim for for the solution to soak the bloodworms in?
I read on another post to "salt" the food with medication but what does that mean - just add a couple of drops directly to the medication (and the concentration would be quite high).

I had started melafix - should I use both melafix *and* prazipro or just one of them (stop melafix and use prazipro instead or finish melafix and use prazipro)?

Thanks!

A couple of drops should do.
