What type of shape of the tank is best? (for green spotted puffers)
The usual long rectangular shape?
or a vertical tank or a rounded one ?
i saw someone selling a tank like this - is this the ideal shape or is a long rectangular one better? i'm not sure if the puffers will like a lot of distance to swim in one direction or if they like vertical distance too

Generally a long tank is more suited to puffers, predators like territory to claim as their own

That tank would work well for dwarf puffers, as long as you find plants that will go all the way to the top to block lines of sight.

I second that. It would make an awesome planted tank for a low light room. Throw a decent grow-light on there and you'd have a great home for a few DPs!

I have 5 small green spotted puffers they are about an inch each including tail
Is it not a good choice for them ?
(Starter tank I will get something even bigger when they get bigger)

Longer footprint is always best. Hasn't that already been covered here?
