Small Crabs for GSP (Fresh/Brackish)

My GSP is hungry, but he's not really eating too well.
He tore apart a large mystery snail about a week ago and his owner was about to flush him down the toilet, so I adopted it.
Live blood worms he gobbles up by the dozen. I've put in twelve ghost shrimp and have found dead carcasses the morning after. Gave him freeze-dried krill once, but I hear it causes lockjaw (irreversible?).
Put a bunch of Malaysian and pond snails in his tank with him, with a guppy. He hasn't snatched the guppy yet, and I don't know if he's eaten any of the small snails yet.
Need a better way to feed him, so he gets the nutrition he needs.
I hear crab is good.
Do you know where I can find some tiny, breed-able crabs for him to munch on?
I figure it'd be easy to clean his tank that way, too (I hope).
