suction cup on his belly !?

Hi all, I just got a Blue spot puffer (Canthigaster papua) the last 3 nights he has somehow used the muscles on his bell to seemingly suction cup himself to the side of the glass and just sit there and sleep. You can tell his belly is firmly pressed against the glass. Has anyone ever seen this before? Seems crazy cool to me, but can't find any reference to such a phenomenon.

Haha that is my favorite thing that my valentini does. No one else seems to love it the same as I do. I know when the turn the lights off because my valentini stares at me while suction cupped to a rock. He puts himself to bed every night.
