Hi, I'm Linda from Stoke-on-Trent, England.
I brought 2 puffers from my lfs a couple of days ago, labelled Spotted Puffers. They assured me they are freshwater, but I'm still not sure. Could anybody give me a positive id, please.

[welcome]

Definitely a Green Spotted Puffer. Prefers high brackish to marine salinity. A 40-75 gallon aquarium is ideal.

Thanks, they are in a 185 litre tank on their own. Will order a refractometer and marine salt :)

You're gonna need a much larger tank.
