I've had this puffer in my 75 gallon tank for about a week. It was doing fine until about a couple days ago. Currently I have a huma trigger and a yellow tang in the tank. I moved the puffer into a quarantine tank. I put a dose of super ich cure in and it didn't help. I went to my local aquarium shop and got a medication they recommend to me called "metro plus" for the puffer. The quarantine tank has a wave maker for aeration and a heater set at 82. I went to uncle bills about a week n a half ago and all my water conditions measured up fine. I was also recommended to buy herbatana for my main tank. The puffer is just sitting at the bottom. Looks like it has ich and his fins are deteriorating. Any idea on what might be the leading cause and what might I do to help? I'm currently continuing treatment on metro plus.

what kind of water test kit do you have?
what kind of puffer is it?
how large are the fish in the tank?
don't add anything else until we know what you need
