Need advice on switching tanks

Hi there! I live in Hawaii and can't get help or advice for my Green Spotted Puffers. Here's my stats:
2 saltwater tanks, one 30gal other 100gal- salinity 1.021
PH 8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite and nitrates 0
30gal-one gsp 2"-Frank, set up for 2 years, 70 gallon filter aquaclear
100 gal-one gsp 3"-Beans, and hermits galore, set up for 3 years, 2-70 gal Aqua clears
Water change, once a month
No products used
No changes, no new additions
I cycled fish less

Last night I tried to move Frank to Beans' tank using a slow drip acclimation over a period of one hour. I noticed about 30 min into it his lips, nose, and tail areas started to turn pinky red. He curled up also. I was so worried bc I have never read about this before! Only them turning black on sides. I figured this was due to stress so back in his tank he went and after hawkeyeing him all night he's fine since then. My concern is this, trying to move him again to bigger tank. Are there any suggestions? I can't keep 2 tanks anymore. I figured since both tanks are the same regarding am, ph, but, etc, they have been up for more than 2 years, and I haven't had any issues at all since I slowly raised Franks salinity a year ago. Please some advice? Thank you for your ideas!

Both have the exact same parameters?

Give Frank a close look over under good light to check for spots, patches, or anything that may
require a medical attention. If he's even the slightest bit sick, the transfer may simply have been too
stressful when factoring in the "new" water.

There HAS to be a water difference between the two tanks to have induced the color and curling stress.
Is it possible the Hermits have partially tainted the 100 gal., and Beans is used to the "hood"
where Frank is not ?

Suggestions: a very slow, deliberate, partial water change on both tanks. Pay careful attention to temps. and mix
ratios.

Is your drip-line new ? If it is, soak it in a heavy salt solution for 48 hours before use. A lot
of the low grade tubing plastics now produced out-gas for a while.

Take all new readings on everything for both tanks after the change. Be dead-on accurate.

Try again. Dead slow on the drip rate. Keep a close eye on Frank.

I never heard of the salt-soaking thing in 40 years. I don't get it.

Low budget vinyl tubing outgasses VOCs. PIck up a new roll
of the ultra cheap junk, breathe deeply, and you'll pass out.

Rock salt solution will kill the smell and the fumes you're pushing
downstream to your finned friends.
