I had a GSP for about 5 weeks now. It is very active and it eat anything regularly. I normally feed it with frozen shrimp and pond snails. Lately I changed the gravel to CaribSea Aragonite Aquarium Sand and notice that there is some black long wasted on the sand surface. And my GSP doesn't seem to grow, I feed it once a day. Its body color looks fine but i see there is a small area of its body has some kind of spotted like chicken skin. Is this normal? I dont know if my GSP has Internal Parasites. I was reading the article regarding to III. Internal Parasites: Prevention and Treatment, but I still dont know where to find the right medication for it and I dont know if it really does has internal parasites. I attach few pix! Please give me some advice?

What size tank? Fresh or saltwater? Get some prazipro from your lfs and soak food in it just in case...

brackish water at 1.006. 30 gallons tank. how much prazipro should i use to soak it with the frozen shrimp? And how often and how long do i have to use it?

Yes that is it. I use just enough to cover it and it has directions on it. I think it's a week

so its safe to mix it with the frozen shrimp? As I read the product and instruction, it is suppose to use one (1) teaspoon per 20 gallons of water to be treated. So is that mean I can either mix with the food i feed it or add it into the tank?

Sorry I am little confuse with so many comments and instruction online~

I'd just "salt" the food with the meds & soak for an hour or 2, before feeding.
