Help sick discolored fish with stringy poop

Hello Puffer Forum I currently have a 2 inch Green Spotted Puffer and for the last 2 weeks he lost his bright color and has been dark and dull only colored when he hunts and today I seen white stringy poop in the tank but he has no symptoms he is active and eats everything with a bright white belly please help
