Sorry your little guy is acting strange. What sort of products are you using in the tank? Is the f8 the only inhabitant, if not what else is in the tank? How is its activity when its eating? Have you noticed and abnormalities in its feces? What temp are you keeping the tank at and what are you using to test.

Don't be put off he was likely sick when you got him. Just to rule it out, any air fresheners in the room aerosol or plug in?
