So im staring at my tank, as usual, when i notice my Molly rubbing its head on my blue spotted toby puffer's stomach. Once the Molly rubs on my puffer for a while it goes face up like its completely paralyzed or something. At first i thought this may be a one time behavior with the molly trying to be friendly or something until i noticed this is apparently becoming a regular thing. My questions are:
1) has anyone ever experienced this?
2) can the molly be getting small amounts of poison from the puffer by rubbing its head on him?
3) Should i stop this from happening?

Let's hope the Molly doesn't go into full "Dolphin Woodstock" mode.

"Filmmakers at John Downer Productions recorded the dolphins snacking on the puffer fish for the documentary "Dolphins: Spy in the Pod." After eating the puffer fish, the dolphins seemed to enter a trance-like state."

That sounds more like mating behavior. Mollies will rub together and then dance up the water column together. He may be waiting for her....
