furry eyeball on marine gsp

I'm not TOO worried but my GSP has got that white fuzzy stuffy they are known to get on their eye sometimes
these are just my thoughts and are open to critisism:
Reading about it online, it seems like no-one really KNOWS what it is but I'll just do more frequent water changes and if it gets any worse then I'll start looking at medication
I'll put a recent tank history in case someone is interested in working out common link or whatever -
Recently cleaned the tank i use to mix water-change water in, I did it with malt vinegar, which I since have heard is not ideal - however I cleaned it before using it again.
I've recently installed a massively over-rated HOB protein skimmer (just for fun because it was cheap, and also as a kind of a f-you to the red bacteria which was multiplying in my tank)
