Please answer all the questions printed above. We need information on the tank to be able to help you and your fish.

Do you plan to move the Cichlid to another tank? What type and size is the Cichlid? They are not brackish water fish.

I do not intend to remove my ciclideo, so it is also of alkaline and ph of brackish water is very good! My pH is 7,8, nitrito ammonium nitrate and I do not know why I do not have any proof that makes these, but fasso expecting parcias 7 in 7 days, and my aquarium is extremely clean. I am very worried about my water, but I still do not have proof, nitrito ammonium nitrate and i am sorry, because in my region these tests are very expensive. Sorry me for my inglish

Can you take the water to the fish store & have them test? Or buy some test kits yourself. It is VERY important to know these things!

I already bought the tests and my resoltado was very good, Ammonia: 0, Nitrite: 0, Nitrate: 1ppm. But I am very sad because my response took soo much to be published. My figure 8 who was sick began to recover its color improved and returned to swim around the aquarium, was not eating as much you ate before, .... but he ended up dying without even I know the problem. I still have 3 Figure 8 that are properly for now, anyone have any idea why my figure 8 died?

If it was wild-caught, we are unlikely to ever know- we would never be able to get realistic info on the capture and holding and transport of each fish. It could be simply mishandling or injury anywhere along the line.

The pet trade does not often have fish pathologists on the staff. LFS never do.

Lots of young wild caught fish unfortunately have a high mortality rate if the supplier or fish store does not invest in treating them for parasites.

I bought my figure 8 good little and he was with any bites on the fins, what I think normal in this fish. She stayed with me more than a month and you recovered and he grew very well, he had strong colors, but from one day to the other your color turned pale and he just swam in the glass of the aquarium up and down when he was not hiding out, and she started to be skinny and you did not eat straight until she ended up dying.

thats ok Pufferpunk, I will star the second question because the first are in my perfil.
2) Currently I have only 2 F8, 1 white and 1 Molly Orange Chromide. ( But already had 5 F8 and 3 eventually died as I already said)

3)The food and made two to three times a day, they eat (dried shrimp, live shrimp, snail, frozen shrimp, frozen artemia, and worm). Sometimes I knead garlic and mix with artemia. I changed at the beginning about 50% of water weekly, but now 25% of water change every 7 to 10 days. Use just a water conditioner and that the Prime (Seachem) and Alkali (Labcon) to raise the ph and of course sea salt.

4) I do not have made change in my aquarium. In it I have a natural wood (for own aquarium) and marine stones that raise ph

5) My aquarium is already mounted about 10 months. Was properly cycled for 40 days with no fish, but with fresh water and only a little time with F8 I added sea salt.

So to add, always was very careful with my aquarium and never died no fish in it, the only ones were the F8

How large is the aquarium?
Please read how to properly cycle a tank: library/water-filtration/fishless-cycling/

I had already read and did the cycling process correctly, do not believe in my aquarium contains something harmful because my fish are very saldaveis some F8 I bought came with bites and soon recovered fins in my aquarium. My aquarium is 200 liters.
