Looks like a bubble

Hi everybody! My name is Christina and I had someone drop off their puffer to my aquarium shop last week so I've only had him for a short while. She said he is a Mappa Scribbled but I think might be a member of the dogface family. He was living in her tank for years with a Stars and Stripes puffer, both about the same size: about 7 inches. When they came into my store they went into the same 40 gallon breeder and seemed to be living peacefully. Yesterday, I noticed what looked to be some sort of bubble-like mark on him. It's basically just his skin protruding in multiple spots. Are they air bubbles? They are much worse this morning than last night. Also: I did a 20% water change on Monday, Ammonia= 0, Nitrite= 0, Nitrates are about 15ppm, Salinity= 1.021,[img][img][/img][/img]and PH= 8.2. I have since moved him to his own 40 gallon tank but the system he is in holds about 700 gallons and he shares the water with a few hundred fish. I've been feeding him krill and clams on the half shell. Can I do anything? I have two hospitals he could go in, one treats for bacterial with furan, and another with copper for parasites, but I was reading they could be just air bubbles? Any help is appreciated, I hate when they suffer!!
P.s I can't figure out how to attach a picture to this forum...I can email someone if they are willing to look. Thanks in advance!
