Posted on Facebook yesterday and forgot to post here! Was going to name him Manny after the mantis from A Bugs Life, but since ken and I have been on an American Dad kick recently, I chose Roger cause he looks like an alien and some things about him make me think of Roger the alien in particular! Here are some pics and the first video I got of him! More to come!

What's funny is that he hasn't tried to attack my finger through the glass (and he seems very interested in people!)... Both mantis shrimp at the other lfs both did and I think that's why I couldn't leave Aqualife without him! Went in to pay for my puffs and told myself if he was still there, I'd take him home... So he now has a 10g all to himself; moving into a bigger acrylic tank when he gets a bit bigger (since I won't trust him in glass once he looks like he could do some damage lol) He's only about 3 inches long right now.

Edit: OMG! As I was moving my serpent star and hermits to the 29, I found the tiniest little brittle or serpent star(leg span about nickel sized) living in/on a specific piece of lr!!! I was so amazed! Little baby stars are just too cute!!!

Love him! Mine was named, Dozer, because he was like a tiny bulldozer. Be sure to give him lots of small rubble to move around.

Yeah, I love how he scoops up sand and makes little piles! I need to get him some more sand and small rocks

Needs a 4" sand bed.
