Hello, my real name is Ruben.
I love puffers all the way, the coolest fish on this planet!

I was wondering if there is anyone keeping F8 with mangrove. And how too feed mangrove without harming the fish?
This is my swamp. There are some more fish in the tank. Muddskippers. "My second coolest fish".
And some bee's and molly's.

I would like too hear what you boy's and girl's think about this.

I'd be more concerned at the puffers biting any mudskipper fins that may be in the water. I also don't think there's nearly enough swimming room in there for a puffer to be comfortable, unless you went much deeper.

Mangroves eat light. Frequent pruning of the aerial branch structure is required to control growth and keep it under the lights. Very strong light is needed - ~40-60watts per square foot is what I used.

One or two plants per 4-6 square foot tank was what I used, but one would have been enough. The water level should be well below the tank rim to avoid fish loss, or overlapped pieces of eggcrate for tank cover.

Water must be be checked at least daily, top-up with RODI to avoid going hyper-saline.

IMHO IME, better in a cool-winter greenhouse w/hot summer temperature and still require a lot of upkeep time and effort...

There is almost 120 liter water in the tank, with 3 f8 at around 5 cm. Thats 1 too much.
I agree with the deept. What minimum hight off waterlevel would you suggest?
Muddskipper and f8 are going pretty well with each other. (if there is enough land)
They are in the tank for almost 2 years it happend 1 time a puffer bit a skipper, i think it was more a incedent.

The tank has a cover and i use RODI water (i got creazy of cleaning brown algee), thank for the tip of watts en how many plants. i got too much plants.
What where your levels of nutriance?
Mine are around no3- 30, po4- 3, fe- 3, k-?.
