After 2 months of peaceful co-habitation our 1-1/4 inch Domino Damsel, Spot, began spending more and more of his time swimming within a few inches of and often even brushing against his good friend Oblio, our 5-1/2 inch Orbicular Burrfish. It was hard to get a photo without both fish in the picture. Today, Oblio is fat, and Spot is missing.

RIP Spot, we are sure your selfless acts of affection were appreciated.

P.S. We rather expected this to happen, but even though they are inexpensive we've don't advocate Dominos as feeders.

You got that right!

Ironically we put 3 hard cerith snails and a fighting conch in the tank today. We think they are too big to eat, but we'll soon find out. It's a win- win, if he eats them it will be good for his teeth and they'll be gut loaded with algae, If he doesn't they'll clean the tank.
