I know he's not a puffer but thought you guys might like him, I was told that he is a Lophiocharon lithinostomus or Marble Mouth Frogfish. I call him "Ent"

Suprisingly he has not eaten the 2 cleansers yet

That is by far one of the coolest fish I've ever seen.
Love the name!! He does indeed look like an Ent :D

It's been still so long it's taken root! Sprouting moss all over lol. Maybe for now the shrimp is providing a valuable cleaning service, it's next vital role will be to fill a hole in the stomach of a hungry frog fish lol

That was the first night... the shrimp no longer venture near the Frog hehe, they will come close when food is around but will keep a good distance away.... they know

Yes Arny I saw your little guy on here so I figured it would be ok to post mine. What happened to your Frog? You say "had"??

Thanks Darkstorm... I got him because he was on sale and I'm so happy I got him. I am hopefully getting a few more preds in the next few weeks and once I do I'll post my reef on here :) It's hard to call a 110g a predator reef when there is only one predator in there hehe but he is hilarious :)

I had one myself long ago in my office at work. I guess that was part of my thing for invisible fish. I traded him (?) off when I left that job as I had no place at home for the set-up. They seened pretty easy-care fish as I remember, but he did eat several cleaner shrimp while I had him. He ate MWF only if I did not have to go in on weekends, and I guessed he did not like weekend with two-day fasts, so I quit trying. Very cool fish, and one of my favorite "Where's the fish? tanks. ;)

I showed my mom a pic and she said "where's the fish" I said "right there" and she said "where behind that green thing" hehe I'm getting a lot of "all I saw was a rock full of algae" hehe but here in real life be is pretty active for a frog, walks around and swims in the front of the glass... he is in a 56g by himself... I know that you could keep him in smaller tanks but I feel like he uses a lot of the tank hehe. He is hilarious.

And they are rather puffer-like. Be careful though - it is awfully easy to learn how much some fish just love a "big" (relatively speaking) tank. Don't get hooked on SAPs - I tried them in a 120 and started thinking about the empty 180. Then you start wondering if you are keeping fish or they are enslaving you...

I'm in an apartment with 2 6 foot tanks hehe, I think that is the max... I did have a 60g and a 45g I sold, I wanted less tanks actually. We have the 125g fahaka tank, my 110g reef and the 56g Frog tank all in the living room... We also have a 20g and 10g in the "cat's room" for feeders... I have thought of shutting down the reef and just keeping the 56g or vice versa... it's enough work as it is :)
