Do you guys think he looks skinny... someone who obviously knows nothing of puffers told me that I was being a horrible puffer keeper and he looked skinny and he needed to be fed 2-3 times a day... I feed him once a day, 5 days a week. He is in a 125g soon to be alone... ugh Rasboras.... with a C-530 Marineland Canister Filter.
I got him at the end of July and he was not even an inch... he is probably almost 3 inches now... I know not the inch a month... another girl got one with me, they looked identical... hers is about 4 inches. My nitrates are around 5. I feed all kinds of cubed stuff and chopped up frozen foods and snails. I used to have Green Spotted Puffers for almost a year.
Cutest pic ever... after the snail
When we first got him
I'm worried about internal parasites and wonder if I should treat him...

"Imma carry it off and kill eet! KILL EET DEAD MYES!"

It wouldn't hurt to treat him for IPs:

Is there any decor in his tank? Be sure to give the substrate a good stirring, before your weekly WC.

As long as it won't hurt him I'll treat him

There is a huge driftwood in the tank and there were rocks that we are going to put back in, we took them out to clean the algae off of them. Thanks for the advice

Treating for ips as suggested certainly wouldn't hurt, it may even help. I fed mine 6x per week until around 6" if I remember correctly, I then slowly reduced feedings accordingly

I treated his food (bloodworms) with metro once... he had a nice brown poop the next day, hanging right off of him, no worms, nothing weird.... so I don't know if I need to treat him again.... He was so small when we first got him... we had him in a 60g until the 125g was empty and we couldn't even see him in there hehe... little pipsqueak
