Hi Folks, just got a new 2" Ceylon puffer named Calypso. She acclimated well into my marine quarantine tank. She is very lively and nosy, nipping at liverock, etc. Can I feed her this soon, as she seems to be pestering all ready and she has only been here since this early AM after a cross-country flight. Colors are bright, white tummy, but she's a little thin. I will worm her after a few days but should I let her settle in today and feed her tomorrow? Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I thought I got a Ceylon puffer but I think she is a little spotted pig :D She gobbled up Mysis and is doing very well. I should have known, my GSP Lucy has always been a glutton; I was foolish to think that Calypso would be any different.

Be sure to vary it's diet.

Yes, the little princesses have half-shell clams, squid, Mysis, plankton and a snail tank that I cultivate for their crunching enjoyment...I acclimated the new Ceylon from fresh into full marine, so she can eventually go into my 55 gal full marine with Lucy, a GSP (she's about 3+ inches). Ceylons can go into full marine at 2" can't they? Fine time for me to be asking after I've already done it :o ?
