What lighting will enhance the appearance of my GSPs? What spectrum or is there a brand at the LFS like Aqua Glo that will make them Shine?

Clean water and BW to SW make them hold their colors better long term. Short term, like many puffers, GSPs are highly responsive and a bit moody. Level of interest/excitment affects color, just as do illness, fright, water quality, etc., as well as alertness - sleeping puffers wash out or go mottled frequently.

Any full-spectrum triphosphor light with a decent CRI (color rendering index) will light the tank and the fish okay. Choice of spectrum chosen is purely personal beyond that.

Aqua Glo would be a good choice. It's a decent high quality bulb with decent characteristics. Definately try to stick to bulbs for aquariums, I find their light to be a lot nicer than say a cheap bulb from walmart meant for a kitchen or garage or something.

Just make sure you stay away from an Aquarium / Plant bulb you can find in hardware stores and such. Unless you want a yellow looking tank and more algae growth than you ever imagined possible. It's worth the extra cash for a Aqua Glow or Power Glow.
