I finally have ordered my Arrowhead puffer. My tank took about 3 weeks to completely cycle. Started it off with filter media from my established tank, and then added ammonia. I can't wait to get this fish.
Is there anyone on here that have had one of these fish? If so will you share your experience with me

Punkster is my favorite fish (well, then there's my fahaka, Filbert).
It took about a week to get Punky on dead foods by bouncing shrimp on the end of a string. Now she eats whatever I toss in there for her. Leaves snails alone & that's the only tank mate I trust her with.

Punkster is a miurus, not an arrowhead, but they are similar in care.

hiya, i have an arrowhead puffer (Dave) too, i was lucky in finding him in my local aquarium shop. now i find it very strange that everyone i have talked to and everything i have read says they are the most agressive puffers, but Dave has been a little ray of light and he is in my community tank and he hasn't touched any other fish. even when the other fish (mainly my 2 large plecs and humbug catfish (Platydoras costatus)) swim into him with some force and clumsyness. he just rides the bumps and then settles on the substrate again and looks at me contently. i think i may have been lucky to find such a docile specimen.

Ah, it's understandable. Besides, anything that makes you post that gorgeous fish of yours great! I love her, she's so pretty. :12:

PP's fish is not an arowgead but a Congo, the red form. read carefully above and you can see that. But their care is much the same.
