Hello,

Recently purchased an arrowhead puffer from a LFS. This LFS is known for sick fish but this puffer looked so cute and badly needed rescuing. As such I purchased it. When I brought him home he had little white worms coming from his skin on the body near his fins. I tried to take a pic below but it is hard to catch. It's been about 3 weeks now and I've treated using Tetra External Parasite tablets and did everything according to the directions.

It is NOT anchor worms. I have no idea what other kind of worms they could be. I tried to use Indian Tea Leaves but that didn't work either. He still eats but the worms aren't going away, if anything they are slowly spreading to other sites on the body.

pH 6.8
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrates -10

Please help, not sure what to do next.

Pics? Possible nematodes that have burst through the skin. I hope he was free! :(
