****please help identify this!****

(sorry this is the best pic i could get)
i saw this white scrape like mark on blue the GSP during feeding about 10 minutes ago. it wasnt there yesterday.
it looks like a sort of scrape mark, or shallow bite mark but i cant think the other tank mates would bite him (bumblebee gobies)
is it just a scrape?
if it is how do i treat it?

(paramaters are: sg 1.008, pH 8, ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 0 )

It's hard to tell for sure from the picture but it does look like a scrape. My GSPs get those quite often, usually when they are competing for food near the live rock. As long as your water is clean he should be fine and it will heal in no time.

You treat with Melafix but it shouldn't be necessary. Watch the wound for any signs of fungus though.

Mine got scraped up like that all the time on rocks.
